Mission/ Vision/ Strategy
Faithbridge Church is a church dedicated to the continued expansion of the gospel of Jesus. We are intentional in developing a family-centric church that loves and cares for one another. Being located strategically in the Jacksonville area,we love our community. Just a short drive from the beach, Mayport Naval Station, and downtown Jacksonville, we do our best to take advantage of every opportunity to minister to the surrounding community as our members live on mission in their neighborhoods, workplaces, and schools.
ABOUT Faithbridge is a “Sending Church” and we strive to raise up fully devoted followers of Jesus who live as his ambassadors in their everyday lives. To that end, our focus is on “equipping the saints for works of service” (Ephesians 4:12). Our discipleship strategy provides shared language and church culture to continue maturing as believers. We call it our CORE 4, based on the principles of Acts 2:
This description of the early church is a clear picture of what is needed for us to live out God’s calling in our lives. These early Christians were described as “devoting themselves” to a set of things. In life, we become what we are committed to. As a result, we challenge everyone who calls Faithbridge their home and wants to grow in Christ to continually seek to raise their level of devotion to these same items:
GOD’S WORD → Knowing and obeying God’s Word
THE FELLOWSHIP → Being devoted to protecting, developing, and sharing in the community of the church
CHRIST-CENTERED WORSHIP → Weekly gathering for Christ-centered worship
PRAYER → Living lives of prayer as we regularly stand together before God

GROW
Commit to grow devoted relationships through a Connect Group.
We invite you to participate in a Connect Group where you can study the Bible in a casual setting with people your own age and ask questions. We have groups for all ages and will help you find a group that you feel comfortable in. In these groups we seek to grow together in our knowledge of and obedience to God and we stand together in prayer with one another. For more information about Connect Groups click here.
LIVE ON MISSION
Commit to live on mission.
We live on mission by investing in relationships with those who don’t know Jesus or are living far from God. In general,
that looks like:
1.Invest in relationships by caring for and getting involved in other people’s lives.
2.Inviting them to worship with us and be a part of our connect group.
3.Including them in the different things we are doing to grow as disciples.
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles" (Acts 2:42).
